For all ye music lovers out there, if you wanna see a lot of bands today – June 30, 2006, head to Mall of Asia for the Annual Fete de la Musique event.

Born in Paris in 1982, Fête de la Musique is now a major event in more than 100 countries throughout five continents. Celebrated on the first day of summer, the longest day of the year, the festival has taken root throughout Europe, in Miami, San Francisco, New York, Manila, across Brazil and Colombia, and has become a national festival in many African countries.

Usually it is held on the third Saturday of June here in Manila. Last year it was held at El Pueblo and at the Podium.

You would notice a lot of Indie Bands are gonna be there so go hang out at the Mall of Asia and if you get tired of listening to the bands, go see Superman Returns on iMax. Or drop by at the nearest Comic Book Store and grab your copy of Amazing Spider-Man #533. Amazing Spiderman #533 is a tie in of the Civil War series.
